Job Description
The HR Compliance Assessment team is looking for a compliance specialist who will work with the team to identify and risks across Delta's HR organization. You will chart the course while evaluating processes, identifying risks, and delivering innovative solutions. The successful specialist must have strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and be able to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Work with the HR Compliance Assessment project team to develop compliance testing plans that address compliance and regulatory risks.
Analyze and interpret regulations impacting HR policies.
Lead walkthroughs of business processes to understand risks and constraints.
Participate in the risk assessment process and proactively identify risks across HR organization.
Execute testing procedures to evaluate process controls and identify gaps and possible improvements.
Use data analytics to monitor processes and transactions and to identify exceptions.
Compile assessment results and reporting for department and division stakeholders.
Work with external subject matter expertise professionals.
Prepare reports and dashboards to monitor HR processes and transactions. Interpret, organize, and communicate findings.
Understand regulatory requirements and assist division in preparation for regulatory agency audits or investigations.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university or relevant work experience.
3 plus years of relevant experience required.
Experience with analyzing data and building dashboards with business intelligence software such as Power BI, Tableau, or Hyperion.
Experience developing reports and presentations using metrics, and dashboards.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment and to effectively interact with a variety of individuals within the company and vendor organizations.
The ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
Fluency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Ability to reliably manage highly confidential materials and issues.
Critical thinking skills: analytical and problem-solving skills; decision-making skills and sound judgment.
The ability to simultaneously manage and prioritize multiple project requests.
Ability to work independently with little over-sight.

(if internal transfer) Must be performing satisfactorily in current role.
HR, audit or regulatory compliance experience preferred.
