Delta's Marketing team is seeking best-in-class candidates for the internship of a lifetime. Delta will host interns remotely with opportunities to work in-person at its World Headquarters in Atlanta. Our interns are full members of our team, developing a deep understanding of our global company, directly supporting the efforts of the Marketing teams, and gaining exposure to other departments, partners and experiences.

Duties and Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

• Introduction to the Delta culture and operation, including exclusive, behind-the-scenes access to the inner workings of a global airline

• Full integration to the Marketing department, where interns will shadow, assist and even lead efforts to support marketing strategic and tactical efforts, both internal and external

• Direct interaction with department and company leaders as well as front-line people

• Opportunity to give input on work of the Marketing team, including developing messages aimed at the next generation of employees and customers.

Job Requirements

• Undergraduate students in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Mass Media, Communication or a related discipline in a 4-year degree program

• Demonstrated ability to prepare marketing proposals, understand how to survey customers and research consumer trends and detail-oriented

• Strong organizational, project management, and verbal/written communication skills are essential

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis

• Willingness/ability to learn new skills is required

• Ability to develop effective presentations and ‘story boards’ that help explain a need, the analysis and the findings and recommendations to leaders in an efficient and effective manner

• Desire to learn leadership techniques and best practices in problem solving and conflict resolution to enable innovation and progress on difficult to solve challenges of our customers
