Staff Representative – Advanced Qualification Programs Standards
The Flight Operations team includes aircraft pilots and pilot support.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible to establish, document, maintenance of document, and provide regulatory oversight of AQP policy, processes, and data as they pertain to pilot training under United's Advanced Qualification Program
Documents, maintains, and provides regulatory oversight of pilot AQP policy, processes, and documentation
Ensures all pilot AQP training (curriculum and courseware) content complies with the FAA approved AQP document
Leads the collection, auditing, analysis, and reporting of pilot proficiency performance data for both internal and external customers
Provides technical input for development of computer systems used for collection, analysis, and reporting of pilot proficiency performance data
Coordinates AQP policy issues with stakeholders in the Flight Training organization
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum of three years’ experience in air carrier training programs
In-depth knowledge of air carrier training programs and associated FAA regulations required
Knowledge of database administration required
Proficient with MS Office Suite software
Effective communication skills
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
Bachelor’s and/or Graduate degree in Instructional Systems Design or related field preferred
Five years’ experience in the training and development field with specialized experience in analysis, design, and development of Advanced Qualification Program training programs
Knowledge of data analysis software and database management software
