    Staff Representative – Advanced Qualification Programs Standards

    The Flight Operations team includes aircraft pilots and pilot support.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Responsible to establish, document, maintenance of document, and provide regulatory oversight of AQP policy, processes, and data as they pertain to pilot training under United's Advanced Qualification Program

    • Documents, maintains, and provides regulatory oversight of pilot AQP policy, processes, and documentation

    • Ensures all pilot AQP training (curriculum and courseware) content complies with the FAA approved AQP document

    • Leads the collection, auditing, analysis, and reporting of pilot proficiency performance data for both internal and external customers

    • Provides technical input for development of computer systems used for collection, analysis, and reporting of pilot proficiency performance data

    • Coordinates AQP policy issues with stakeholders in the Flight Training organization


    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

    • Minimum of three years’ experience in air carrier training programs

    • In-depth knowledge of air carrier training programs and associated FAA regulations required

    • Knowledge of database administration required

    • Proficient with MS Office Suite software

    • Effective communication skills

    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

    • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

    • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

    • Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s and/or Graduate degree in Instructional Systems Design or related field preferred

    • Five years’ experience in the training and development field with specialized experience in analysis, design, and development of Advanced Qualification Program training programs

    • Knowledge of data analysis software and database management software
