    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Allocation of finance CSRs & monitoring of queues to ensure completion within agreed SLAs (UK, Scandinavia, Germany).

    • Monitoring of chargebacks, along with allocation in the system & preparing disputes where required (UK, Scandinavia, Germany).

    • Raising sales invoices for marketing contributions & associated credit control (UK, Scandinavia, Germany).

    • Prepare bank reconciliations for review (UK, Scandinavia, Germany)

    • Processing customer and trade refunds and managing refund escalations with Sales and Contact Centre (UK/Germany/Scandinavia).

    • Receipting of all customer and trade payments (customers pay for holidays in instalments) and clearance of unreconciled balances (UK/Germany/Scandinavia).

    • Managing UK and EUR bank transfer payments (UK/Germany).

    • Issuing weekly trade statements (SOAs) to agents (B2B) (UK).

    • Reconciliation of trade statements and clearing discrepancies directly with agents (UK).

    • Investigating and resolving discrepancies located/raised from duplicate payments made by customers (B2C) (mostly duplicate credit card payments taken by Contact Centre over calls) (UK/Germany/Scandinavia).

    • Generating aged debt reports for credit control purposes and chasing trade (B2B) and direct (B2C) bookings with balances due. Where outstanding balances not received on time, sending final chasers to agents and customers and then informing Sales/Reservations to cancel bookings 10 weeks prior to departure (UK/Germany/Scandinavia).

    • Posting journals - including direct credits (UK/Germany/Scandinavia).

    • Managing the Finance mailbox and administration matters (UK/Germany/Scandinavia).

    • Confirming and uploading payments to the agent portal (UK/Germany/Scandinavia).

    • Filing claims for outstanding balances from default agents in ABTA portal (UK).

    • Working closely with Finance Managers and Regional Finance Manager on amending/enhancing AR processes to improve productivity and efficiency.


    Job Requirements

    • Minimum ‘O’ Level or equivalent

    • Experience working within and knowledge of Finance & Accounting essential

    • Ability to plan and organize a busy work load essential

    • High level of attention to detail and the ability to work to and meet deadlines is required

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel

    • Fluency in written and spoken English
