Job Description
The Talent Assessment intern will support the Talent Strategies team on the design, implementation, and measurement of enterprise-wide talent initiatives with a specific focus on selection and assessment. These talent initiatives may include engagement and lifecycle surveys, pre- and post-hire assessments, talent tools and technology, interview guide/process development, and talent planning. This opportunity is a 6-month part-time role gaining experience with developing and implanting talent solutions at a Fortune 100 company. We are looking for a master’s or PhD student in I/O psychology (or a related field) who is available 20 hours per week. This experience would allow a student to apply the concepts which are foundational to I/O psychology in a large, complex organization.
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Duties and Responsibilities
Support the development, implementation, and validation of our pre-hire assessments
Consult on the development and expansion of behaviorally-based competency models
Analyze data from our talent programs to assist with insights into our talent assessment and selection programs
Work collaboratively with HR partners and business leaders on assessment and talent solutions specific to individual work groups
Evaluate and provide reports regarding the effectiveness of the organization’s talent strategies
Support ongoing implementation and improvements to talent assessment programs
Job Requirements
Enrolled in a master’s or doctorate program in I/O Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field
Ability to synthesize and analyze statistics
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Motivated and detail oriented
Strong active listening and observations skills
Available for 20 hours of work per week (hybrid work available)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
Graduate level education in assessments, advanced statistics, and psychometric theory
