    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:


    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Operational Support

    • Serves as a liaison between American Airlines leadership and cargo teams throughout the MEXICO Region

    • Works with Regional Manager to resolve operating problems throughout the MEXICO Cargo Stations

    • Supervises cargo stations in the MEXICO Region to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures

    • Monitors stations safety, rules, and regulations compliances

    • Monitors ULDs proper handling and movement as needed

    • Assists on monitoring and following up stations within the MEXICO Cargo Region with DEP/NFD performances and assists on their coding

    • Monitors MEXICO Cargo Stations’ test logs, self-audits and scale calibrations to ensure compliance

    • Serves as first POC for MEXICO station’s operational support

    • Performs in-depth aleatory station reviews addressing all auditable areas

    • Supports stations within the Region with on the job training and operational assistance as needed

    • Assists NON-CARGO stations on COMAT/AOG handling

    • Distributes company communication and Heads Ups

    • Assists other departments and COC as needed, based on availability

    • Training

    • Travels throughout the MEXICO Region to facilitate training courses, conduct observations, and provide mentoring/support

    • Supervises students while in training including performance assessment, performance management, counseling/coaching, administering progressive counseling, when necessary

    • Ensures students are given proper certification for course completion

    • Performs needs analysis; design and develop training curriculum/materials to meet corporate objectives

    • Updates and maintains current course curricula; always ensure course content is up to date and accurate

    • Supports and participates in special projects/programs as requested by internal customers

    • Develops positive relationships with corporate departments and station personnel

    • Completes personal expense reports timely, accurately, and efficiently

    • Performs administrative duties pertaining to training compliance and reporting

    • Some travel required for other MCLA stations, as needed

    • Assists Regional Manager in verifying vendor’s invoices accuracy and proper billings


    Job Requirements

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with employees from all departments and levels in English and in Spanish

    • Demonstrated effective presentation skills

    • Motivated self-starter with proven leadership skills

    • Ability to work with minimal supervision and uphold a professional demeanor

    • Ability to create and develop effective training curriculum/materials

    • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and effectively

    • Effective planning, organization, and time management skills

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office software such as Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, Teams and WebEx

    • Ability to work days/evenings/weekends that may include holidays

    • Valid Passport and visa to travel to the USA and Internationally

    • Preferred Qualifications

    • Proficient in American Airlines iCargo system

    • In-depth knowledge of and proficiency in all aspects of cargo customer service

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent airline/cargo services experience

    • Knowledge on virtual training resources and techniques
