As an Id Centre Officer, you will deliver a professional, customer focused identity management service to ensure that access to the restricted zone and controlled areas of Gatwick Airport meet necessary requirements. This important role keeps people at the airport safe, and in return, you'll encounter countless different people and experiences every single day, maintaining our high standards with a smile, and always providing a great experience for customers both internally and externally. .
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Duties and Responsibilities
Check the authenticity of all applications associated with the issue of a Gatwick Airport security pass or permit ensuring the documents provided met the standard as detailed by policy and statutory requirements.
Verify the identity of all ID pass applicants against data supplied and meets regulatory requirements. Escalating irregularities to Account Leader or ID Centre Manager.
Exercise the right to refuse the issue of any pass or permit where it is established that the documentation submitted does not meet the required standards and advising customer of the actions required to rectify.
Input and maintain accurate data in line with GDPR.
Manage the full life cycle process of issuing Id passes.
Job Requirements

Have previous experience of working in a busy, customer-based service role
Are flexible, with the ability to complete many tasks on time and to a high standard
Speaking other languages is helpful, but not essential
