    Serves as a resource to provide support, information, analysis and coordination while maintaining complaince of corporate policies, and the collective barganining agreement. Responsible for analzying and reporting data on numerous Flight Ops policies. Works with a team to coordinate and process other job functions associated with the administration of Flight Ops.

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:


    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for analyzing weekly, monthly and yearly data for patterns, trends and areas for focus with regards to pay claims for Concur reimbursements and deadhead middle seat requests

    • Develops and updates instructional guides on policies, procedures and other programs on the base user guide

    • Provides a first point of contact with pilots in administering and communicating operational policies, procedures and facilitation direction to resolve issues

    • Researches collective bargaining and contract interpretation to support the pilot base personnel

    • Provides direction to the bases on non-flying and non-discipline matters

    • Coordinates and supports pilot bases while leveraging the PSC and IGT

    • Performs related administrative duties such as preparation of reports, special projects, anniverary milestones and other duties as required

    • Responsible for conducting root cause analysis on help hub submissions to determine the origins of error

    • Coordinates with ALPA to review Flight Ops employees employement statuses

    • Resolves non-flight issues and provides and interfaces with other bases, CSC and ALPA

    • Attends several weekly, bi-monthly and monthly meeting include labor, legal, HR, ALPA, etc.

    • Will be responsible for pilot records and needs to be knowledgeable in Pilot Qualifications

    • Interfaces with Human Resources, labor and legal on various complex pilot issues: pilot pay issues, travel issues, medical, life insurance and wellness

    • Coordinates and decision maker for esclated crew desk transactions and scheduling concerning trip drops for pilots

    • These include emergency drops, death in family, company time off, personal drops and pass travel processing if necessary

    • Supports CPO Staff Reps as needed, for workload management, vacation, training and any other known absences

    • May assist with budgetary efforts and will coordinate all new base systems and ensure all base staff is trained on all new systems


    Job Requirements

    • High School Diploma or equivalent

    • 2-4 years administrative support experience

    • Experience using Help Hub

    • Experience drafting, coordinating, vetting and distributing department policy, procedure and administrative information

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)

    • Working knowledge of ALPA contract and/or other collective bargaining agreements

    • Positive attitude and ability to adapt to constantly changing work environment

    • Highly organized, and the ability to multi-task competing priorities

    • Ability to work with other team members across the organization and with base leadership

    • Excellent communications skills – written and verbal

    • Excellent time management skills

    • Demonstrated ability to perform as a team member and ability to multi-task with other team personnel

    • Demonstrated ability to coordinate implemetation of buisness activities

    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

    • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

    • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

    • Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree, equivalent Flight Ops work experience

    • 3+ years Flight Operations experience

    • Proven experience in employee and customer advocacy

    • Familiarity with company/collective barganing agrememets, policies and procedures

    • Knowledge of Flight Ops programs such as CMS, Pilot Records, Concur, Help Hub, SharePoint, Airvision, TIBCO Spotfire, United voices, SQL, etc.

    • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities

    • Effectively manage employee and union relations
