Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Assisting the Government Affairs and other policy professionals
Monitoring press and Capitol Hill and Executive branch publications for a variety of topics and issues of interest to clients
Assisting with projects, including conducting research, crafting charts and presentations
Compiling briefing books, relating to a broad range of issues
Draft correspondence, talking points and background materials for use by the government relations team and executives with government officials and agencies
Assist with the preparation of leadership visits to Washington, D.C.
Job Requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Shown proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to handle simultaneous projects and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment
Solid research skills
Intern duration is Summer
There may be flexibility with remote summer work based on environmental conditions
Applicant must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship or future sponsorship for a full/part time position

Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position
