Job Description
The Inside Sales Representatives maximise the customer experience by offering excellent fulfillment and sales support to our key Corporate and Agency customers. They also complement the field sales efforts by guiding service-related issues to a mutually beneficial resolution for customers and United.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Providing PNR-related pre-travel and post-travel assistance to valuable customers
Offering innovative and creative solutions that create win/win situations for both the customer and United
Coordinating with other United divisions (i.e. baggage, reservations, airport, customer relations) to mediate and resolve customer issues
Providing timely and informative responses to customer and field sales inquiries in a professional manner
Successfully track and provide monthly reporting on use of waivers/favors, call volume, upgrade usage, for AU/NZ/SG/PF
Supporting Marketing with ticket allocation for sponsorship agreements
Some oversight of Group Reservation handling
Providing support to the Sales organization: assigned roles for Account Managers for joint customer visits, product training, and outreach to ensure awareness of special fares or promotions
Hybrid workplace designation – home/Sydney CBD office.
Job Requirements
Proficiency working within GDS, Reservations and/or Customer Service environments
Demonstrates a high level of customer service
Possess a good working knowledge of United’s products & procedures
Sound decision making
Attention to detail
Good team player
Must be legally authorized to work in Australia for any employer without sponsorship
Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
Proficiency in Apollo/SHARES and Microsoft applications
