Kuwait Airways is hiring a Traffic Officer in Bangkok, Thailand to check-in passengers and baggage at Kuwait Airport. The role involves checking passenger ticket fare, flight details, passports, and visa requirements for all countries. The candidate should be familiar with visa requirements for all countries and handle passports and immigration forms. They should also secure baggage on the scale, take weight readings, and stick baggage identification tags on the ticket.
The Traffic Officer also handles various clerical and reception activities related to transiting passengers and baggage, including directing connecting passengers to interline counters, checking in passengers, verifying entitlements, issuing refreshments, and arranging for guardian pick-ups or escorts. They issue excess baggage forms and receive payments, and liaise with Airport Immigration and Security Authorities to ensure timely passport checks and obtain clearance for releasing flights. The candidate may be assigned to any other unit of Passenger Services on shift and will be expected to carry out all duties and responsibilities.
Job Requirements
Job requirements include a 12+ year secondary education, 2+ years airport experience, 1 year of specialized traffic handling and ticketing training, and good English knowledge.
