Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production as well as scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
Perform troubleshooting and repair of PLC, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
Schedule and perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
Detect faulty operations and report to proper supervision
Maintain clean and orderly work areas
Prepare required reports and documentation
Interact with outside vendors and service providers where needed
May be required to perform occasional building maintenance: carpentry, paint, plumbing, etc.
Able to adjust work hours as needed
Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures
Job Requirements
Minimum completion of High School/diploma or GED; relevant trade or technical schooling is a plus
Possess working knowledge of CNC equipment and operation
Ability to independently prioritize duties and constructively interact with a variety of individuals
Ability to read, interpret and follow written instructions and equipment manuals.
Ability to learn new systems in an efficient manner
