Duties and Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

• Leads special projects as assigned by Controller

• Identify and resolve Epicor issues, including assisting in creating and setting policies and controls

• Assist in creating / revising inventory structure and management reporting

• Revenue and Cost of Goods Sold accounting and reporting

• Assist with annual operating and capital plans and load into SmartView

• Aid in preparing presentations to senior management regarding financial and strategic activities for the company

• Prepare monthly close general ledger entries and cash flow adjustments

• Prepare financial analyses of all manufacturing variances and present to Controller

• Assist with monthly forecast and load into SmartView

• Prepare plan and forecast variance explanations

• Team with Delta’s internal auditors, as necessary, to ensure an efficient and effective audit process, including compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements

• Maintain a solid understanding of assigned business areas and related strategic objectives, reporting requirements and financial needs

• Cash forecasting

• Initiate, manage and maintain all requests for borrowing and repayment

• Manage intercompany cash settlement with help from inventory analyst

• This position requires effective communication across the DFP organization and with Delta’s Finance, IT and Technical organization.

• Maintain a solid understanding of assigned business areas and related strategic objectives, reporting requirements and financial needs.

• Practices safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of recent analytical finance and/or accounting experience.

• Must have demonstrable financial acumen.

• Strong presentations skills, both written and oral required.

• Candidate must possess robust analytical skills and excellent organizational skills. The candidate must also be a team player with the capacity to deliver results, and be able to successfully interact with all levels of management.

• Must possess advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.

• CPA strongly preferred.

• 2-3 years SAP, Hyperion and Epicor experience.

• Experience in an environment with engineering and manufacturing capabilities.
