Are you ready to elevate your HR knowledge and apply your studies to the real world? Delta’s HR team is looking for interns to join our high performing group. The interns will work with the Employee Relations COE team to develop and manage processes and support operational strategies.
Additional responsibilities include participation in data collection efforts for projects that impact cross-functional departments and engage in opportunities to establish and enhance workforce partnerships. Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Partnering with existing Employee Relations leaders on various projects and initiatives
Opportunities to design, develop, and optimize reporting and analytics for the Employee Relations team
Exposure to various work groups and processes to help foster engagement with Delta’s front-line employees
Identifying and implementing enhancements to existing processes to increase efficiency, productivity, and performance (including HR Info Systems - ServiceNow, EthicsPoint, SAP)
Job Requirements
Pursuing a Master's degree in human resources or industrial/labor relations
Candidate is team oriented, highly supportive of continuous improvement methodologies and adaptable
Strong organizational, project management, and verbal/written communication skills are essential
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis
programming is strongly preferred
Willingness/ability to learn new skills is required
Willingness to travel as required
Ability to digest large amounts of data and information and succinctly explain what can be learned from the data and how it can support decision making
