Job Description
The Aircraft Records Ops Support Specialist is responsible to provide real-time support for issue management for real-time impacts to the operation, inventory control and data corrections.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Provide real-time support for error correction in CDCS for aircraft that are in a locked status
Real-time resolution of alerts to include: incorrect part removal, incorrect serial number removal, removed part not matching inventory, manufacturer serial number not matching inventory, inventory not in system, part/serial installed on different aircraft, unserviceable inventory
Being able to use analytical thought process to resolve the above issues quickly to ensure aircraft can depart with no delay
Single level data corrections
Coordinate and disperse unresolved requests to appropriate Records Team with more expertise
Problem solves single level parts/inventory problems
Demonstrate the ability to utilize a workflow tool to resolve or escalate issues
Provide Aircraft Records support to AEMP locations
Be familiar with all MPM procedures and Records training procedures to perform role successfully and timely
Train peer Analysts/Specialists on work functions and software
Assist Projects & Performance (P&P) Team to test new Technology updates
Assist with special projects or research as designated by Analyst, Team Lead, Supervisor, or Manager

Able to travel to other Southwest cities to develop training and strategize with Teammates
Maintain Customer focus with regards to operational on-time departures
Working knowledge and understanding of aircraft systems, aircraft maintenance, and technical documentation is desired
Able to display flexibility to shift changes periodically
Experience with Quickbase applications, Salesforce, Documentum, or similar workflow tools
High School Diploma or GED
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
4 Years relevant work experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree
3 Years Aircraft records with an Air Carrier or MRO or relevant work experience
3 Years Airline industry experience preferably with a 14CFR air carrier, original equipment manufacturer, MRO or vendor
Preferred 3 Years knowledge and experience in the use of an integrated aircraft maintenance data collection and tracking system
Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
Must be able to travel, up to 5%, with some overnight stays to meet the requirements of the position
