Job Description
This position is responsible for oversight and management of daily HR operations with a concentrated focus on Auditing and Automation.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Inspecting approval documents inclusive but limited to codeblocks, tax funding for completeness and accuracy and submit audited results to leaders.
Ensure compliance with established internal controls by examining reports, records, operating practices and documentation.
Completes audit paperwork requirements as per state/local requirements.
Performing quarterly balancing along with ensuring timely filing submissions by the vendor.
Assess and review quarterly and year end filings by the vendor by requesting all appropriate documentations for auditing.
Evaluate Refunds and perform auditing of supporting documentation.
Participates in all Internal audits/controls.
Keep abreast of federal, state, and local security legal requirements by having knowledge of existing and new security legislation and proactively advising management on needed actions.
Collating, checking and analyzing spreadsheet data.
Reviewing software/process requirements with a need to possible automate and creating automated tests scenarios accordingly.
Execute various levels of testing (Functional, Integration, Regression).
Collaborate with team to ensure functional requirements are accurately implemented.
Relationship management of the vendors and finance to ensure high quality delivery of services and project execution.
Alignment with vendor regarding all policies, programs and processes related to the functional area(s); hold the vendor accountable functional expectations and standards.
Partners with vendors to deliver an exceptional customer experience across all channels.
Provide leadership and subject matter expertise in the recommendation, conceptual design, and implementation of new system functionality and modifications to systems to enhance user experience, increase efficiency, and ensure continued compliance.
Facilitates and participates in the governance processes used for analysis and approval of change orders, as well as reprioritization of change activities.
Maintain payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.
Is knowledgeable of all current and new/upcoming changes in legislation/guidelines – proactively advises leaders of changes and provides recommended actions.
Job Requirements
A proven ability to work in a diverse team responsible for the management of daily HR operations including payroll functions for domestic operations
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, finance or business or 5 – 7 years of experience in payroll role required
Minimum 4 - 6 years of SAP payroll experience or work with another ERP payroll software is required.
Excellent understanding of data and technology, hands on use of all tools expected, experienced with Excel and MS Access
Experience working cross divisionally with all business areas.
Solid project management skills required; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; and ability to implement change.
Ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty in a dynamic environment.
Must be results oriented and capable of meeting or exceeding aggressive deadlines with meticulous attention to detail, thoroughness and highest quality results. Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
