Job Description
The ideal candidate for this position will be a highly analytical individual, and driven by the creation of strong processes . They will manage all Delta Material Services purchase orders, repair orders, shipping records, and all internal and external communications. This role will be responsible for developing and documenting operational processes and track all operational metrics.
This position is based in Atlanta and will report to the Warehouse Operations Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Set workscope priority for all orders, and control receiving backlog
Lead team members on the receiving, Quality and shipping teams.
Track & report metrics for labor utilization, capacity and performance
Track all Delta Material Services inbound and outbound orders
Control processes and training to support operations in accordance with QMS.
Communicate with Repair Coordinator to track all Delta Material Services repair orders.
Knowledgeable of all SAP warehouse, sales, and inventory transactions for Delta Material Services.
Work with Transportation providers and freight forwarders on pick-ups and deliveries.
Control & manage inventory movements of Delta Material Services owned & consigned inventory
Manage team to perform cycle count of Delta Material Services owned and consigned material.
Job Requirements
3-5 years relevant professional working experience
Embraces diverse people, thinking and style
Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority
Willingness to travel as required.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.
Prior experience with MS Office , SAP, or other ERP knowledge.
Bachelors degree in Materials management or related field, or 5 years of relevant experience
Prior experience with Import & Export Clearance procedures
