Job Description
Qatar Airways is seeking a Senior Reservations and Ticketing Agent, based in Montreal to support their ticketing team and ensure customer satisfaction. Key duties include handling customer requests professionally, assisting travel agents with seat confirmation and VIP booking queries, resolving issues with reservations and ticketing, arranging passenger reservations and routing using the Amadeus system, issuing tickets and quoting correct fares, assigning space to customers, minimizing waiting times, preparing staff rosters, guiding staff, investigating complaints, and ensuring quality work. The role also involves identifying weak areas and motivating staff to contribute positively to the airline's standards.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma, an IATA or airline Advanced Passenger Tariff and Pricing Course, knowledge of special rates, experience of working within a ticketing or a fast-paced customer service environment, passion for customer satisfaction, ability to resolve problems, adhere to management policy, work shifts, have experience with Amadeus, and be authorized to work lawfully in Canada.
