Job Description
Air Canada is seeking a Cargo Sales and Reservations Agent in London to handle customer enquiries and generate revenue for their expanding network. The Cargo Reservation Unit is responsible for handling both internal and external customer inquiries, working closely with Cargo Sales and Capacity Control to maximize cargo capacity and route availability. The role involves addressing customer inquiries, providing excellent customer service, and collaborating with Cargo Sales to develop opportunities and maximize revenue. The ideal candidate should possess commercial and operational knowledge of Air Canada Cargo products and solutions, upsell on flights, and liaise with GSAs and GHAs to maximize revenue.
Job Requirements
The candidate must be able to work in the United Kingdom without restrictions, have previous cargo experience, have good computer skills, and be a team player. They should be flexible, tactful, and willing to make decisions for Air Canada Cargo and customers. They must be able to work under pressure, plan workloads, and meet deadlines. They must wear company uniform, access AC Aeronet, and wear PPE in high-risk areas. Additional assets include experience with Weblynx, ABS, ETS, and DfT Security trained. Eligibility for employment is required, and candidates must be eligible for work permits/visas or other authorizations.
