Job Description
The Air Canada Concierge is a 40-hour full-time position at Toronto Aiport, offering $16.65/hr per hour. The primary function of the Concierge is to assist premium customers throughout their airport experience, including check-in, Maple Leaf lounges, and traditional personal services. The position is modeled after concierge service found in 5 star hotels. The Concierge's duties vary daily, depending on the diverse requirements of top tier premium customers. Key Concierge activities include identifying and reviewing top-tier/international business class reservations, ensuring system-wide "personal service" follow-up, greeting high-value/high profile customers, offering assistance for special needs, monitoring connections, proactively initiating re-bookings, working closely with the Super Elite reservations desk and Customer Relations, maintaining a reference material library, and developing a network of contacts and resources to accommodate the diverse requests of top tier customers.
Job Requirements
Technical qualifications for this position include experience as an Airport Customer Sales and Service Agent, knowledge of airline service information and procedures, and strong knowledge of local city attractions, events, hotels, restaurants, and services. Behavioral qualifications include excellent customer service skills, a proactive attitude, good judgment, superior leadership, people skills, self-motivation, excellent grooming, organization, attention to detail, excellent attendance record, and willingness to work in a team environment.
Candidates must be eligible to work in their country of interest and seek necessary work permits/visas. Linguistic requirements include fluency in English, French, Japanese, Korean, Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish, Italian, German, Arabic, Hebrew, Portuguese, or Greek.
