Job Description
Air Canada is hiring an Administrative Support Coordinator in Dorval, Montreal, to perform complex operational and administrative duties. The position will be located at Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport and will be based on experience and the Collective Agreement. The primary function is to create tables, graphs, and spreadsheets, sort and merge documents, research data, edit and proofread, work under pressure, prepare, maintain, validate, input, and update data, receive, index, and revise manuals or data, prepare correspondence, and manage incoming and outgoing calls. The role will also involve assisting other employees, arranging ground transportation, and addressing customer issues. The candidate will work with minimal supervision and must adhere to government regulations, company policies, and procedures.
They will also control distribution and maintain company and technical publications, maintain high levels of accuracy, operate specific department software programs, maintain confidentiality, and maintain accurate maintenance and technical records. Task allocation may vary between departments.
Job Requirements
The position requires high school graduation, strong interpersonal and communication skills, intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, proficiency in spelling, punctuation, grammar, and aircraft terminology. Experience is required, with a minimum of 2 years in office. Specific requirements include lifting, climbing, licenses, shift work, and weather exposure. Eligibility for work in the country of interest is required, and candidates must obtain and maintain transportation security clearances. Bilingualism is required in English and French.
