Porter Airlines is hiring a Flight Attendant in Goffs to ensure the safety and well-being of passengers while delivering Flying Refined. The position involves providing friendly service, adhering to standard operating procedures, managing unforeseen situations, monitoring cabin conditions, and exemplifying Porter values. The candidate should also participate in Porter's Safety Management System, report hazards, and promote company safety policies. Their behavioral competencies include concern for safety, teamwork, passenger/customer service, initiative, results focus, and communication. The ideal candidate should be proactive, persistent, results-focused, and open to dialogue and consensus-building.
Job Requirements
Flight attendants must be 19 years old, have completed secondary school, have fluency in English or French, have 2 years of experience in customer service, hold a valid Canadian or International passport, obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card, and meet medical standards. They may be called at short notice and must complete a 5-week full-time training program. They must work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
