Duties and Responsibilities
As a Flight Attendant, you will greet, direct, and assist passengers, provide public announcements, and ensure passenger compliance with safety requirements and comfort. You will demonstrate leadership, confidence, and professionalism in handling various situations, including emergencies, special needs, and diffusing challenging situations. You will provide medical attention to passengers as needed, care for incapacitated passengers, and work in confined spaces. You will adapt to frequent changes in the work environment and complete all responsibilities promptly, contributing to on-time departures and arrivals.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Possess a valid passport and meet Canadian immigration requirements (if applicable).
- Be between 5'0" and 6'0" and able to fit comfortably in a jump seat harness and seat belt.
- Have legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Be fluent in English with clear communication skills.
- Demonstrate a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Have reliable access to high-speed internet and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Be able to work various shifts and potentially lift heavy objects.
Preferred qualifications include:
- One year of hospitality experience in hotels, restaurants, or retail.
- Previous experience in face-to-face public contact positions.
- A college degree (any field).
