Job Description
The Supervisor Flight Attendants plays a crucial role in supporting and evaluating Southwest's Flight Attendants, focusing on the Inflight Base. They are responsible for evaluating job performance, enforcing work rules and company policy, and ensuring professional standards are met. The Supervisor Flight Attendants will also serve as the main point of contact for Flight Attendants at their assigned station. Their responsibilities include providing leadership, direction, mentoring, coaching and counselling, maintaining knowledge of the F/A Manual, Work & Conduct Rules, and Collective Bargaining Agreement, attending required leadership training, ensuring compliance with work rules and regulations, ensuring Flight Attendant recognition and awards programs, conducting i360/Flight Attendant boarding performance assessments, qualifying and maintaining active requirements, and data-entry of personal files.

Southwest offers a competitive market salary ranging from $76,500 to $85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional bonus opportunities are available for leadership and individual contributor roles. The pay amount does not guarantee employment for a specific period of time, and 401(k) match and profit-sharing contributions are subject to the plan's vesting schedule and IRS limits.
Job Requirements
The job requires a high school diploma or GED, knowledge of customer service principles, administrative procedures, business principles, English language, logic and reasoning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. The candidate must also have experience in leading teams, interpreting collective bargaining agreements, and airline operations. Must have or maintain Inflight Crew Qualification (SWA Flight Attendant Certification), be able to perform work duties from limited space, communicate and interact in English, and use office productivity tools efficiently. Other qualifications include maintaining a well-groomed appearance, being a U.S. citizen or having authorization to work in the U.S., being at least 18 years old, and complying with company attendance standards. The candidate must also be able to communicate effectively in English and be able to adapt to changing work environments.
