Job Description
Emirates is seeking a Customer Sales and Service Agent to ensure high-quality customer service, provide information on tariff fares, issue online tickets, and sell related products. The agent will also highlight legal requirements for customers, such as passport, visa, and health requirements, and provide details on check-in times and check-in places.
The agent will enhance Emirates revenue earnings by offering options for Skywards membership, DBB, Dubai stopovers, hotel bookings, and upgraded fares, actively suggest new ideas and recommendations for improving service, increasing revenue and ensuring Emirates' success as a market leader.
The agent will ensure all ticket-related documentation is filed, including time tables, brochures, and promotional materials. Support the Customer Sales & Service Team Leader in closing end-of-day sales and banking monies received.
The agent will also respond to queries from customers and agents regarding import and export of cargo, providing system support for self-service on the website. They will follow up on quotes to maximize revenue and keep customers and agents informed about shipment status.
Job Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates must have 1+ years of customer service experience, 10 years of schooling or equivalent, excellent interpersonal, telephone, and customer service skills, ability to work in a busy sales team environment, PC-based skills, knowledge of contact centre and airline industry procedures, and experience with standard fares and ticketing courses.
