    Avelo Airlines is seeking enthusiastic Flight Attendant candidates to join its dedicated team of safety and service professionals. As a new, high-value, low-fare airline, Avelo is focusing on inspiring travel throughout the U.S. and ensuring a great customer experience for customers.

    As a flight attendant, you are responsible for ensuring the safety, welfare, and comfort of all passengers and crew members, contributing to smooth operations, completing safety reporting requirements, and creating a caring customer experience. You must be knowledgeable about Federal Aviation Regulations, comply with laws and procedures, attend training, maintain qualifications, and maintain the Flight Attendant manual. You should build customer loyalty by cooperating with operational Crewmembers and Avelo leadership, treating each customer with kindness and respect. You can contribute to Avelo's on-board service, sales, and revenue-generating initiatives, and serve as a customer service, marketing, and public relations ambassador.

    Pay

    Avelo offers a competitive hourly rate of $28 per hour for the first year, a minimum monthly guarantee of 75 hours, lead pay of $2.00, per diem of $2.25 for airport or flying duties, premium pay for flight time above 90 hours per month, and holiday pay for company-identified holidays.


    Requirements

    Candidates for the role must be at least 21 years old, able to accept and relocate to a base assignment at their expense after training, work a rotating schedule with variable hours, and be able to serve all types of food and beverages. Must maintain a working telephone number, file their address with the company, and maintain its currency at all times. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, possess a valid passport with applicable VISAs, and have the right to travel freely in and out of the United States. Fluency in English is required, and they must perform all duties outlined in the Avelo Inflight Services Manual, Company safety manuals, and as assigned by the flight Captain or Avelo leadership.

    The physical requirements for this role include having a vision of at least 20/40 with glasses or contact lenses, lifting 50 pounds from ground to waist, walking forward down the aisle without affecting seated customers, seated in a jumpseat without seatbelt extension, maintaining balance during flight, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, reaching, and crouching for long periods, pushing or pulling doors or exits with force of up to 100 lbs., and assisting passengers during evacuation.
