Description
The Treasury Officer is responsible for processing daily banking transactions and performing treasury-related activities, ensuring accurate recognition and recording of receipts, disbursements, and borrowings. Key responsibilities include performing bank reconciliations, journal creation, verifying and reconciling collected funds against relevant reports, assisting in timely review and reconciliation of activities posted to cash and clearing accounts, responding to inquiries promptly, ensuring daily reports are submitted by departments, compiling data for Treasury reports, assisting with credit/debit card payments processing, and addressing payment errors. Other treasury and accounting duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have a high school graduate with O' level math skills, three years of accounting experience, excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, strong Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge, excellent time management, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strict confidentiality, and multitasking. Desirable qualifications include an associate degree in accounting, bookkeeping experience, basic knowledge of airline operations, and three years of work experience in a banking or treasury environment.
