Description
The Supervisor, International Security SDQ is responsible for supporting the Security Manager in fulfilling Corporate Security mission objectives within the Dominican Republic and other locations. They will address security-related duties, issues pertaining to JetBlue's International operations, and provide assistance to JetBlue International Airport leadership. The Supervisor will also maintain effective liaison with law enforcement, intelligence, and regulatory officials whose jurisdiction impacts aviation operations within JetBlue's International cities.
Essential Responsibilities include supervising and executing all security-related functions, maintaining strong working relationships with JetBlue's Airports department leadership, acting as JetBlue's security liaison with US and foreign officials, reporting international security issues and events, implementing Corporate Security Department initiatives, identifying and assessing security vulnerabilities, conducting complex investigations, writing complex investigations reports in English, ensuring adherence to safety and security regulations, and performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, three years of security-related work in law enforcement, intelligence, regulatory, or private/corporate security, three years in a leadership role, proficiency in English and Spanish, situational assessment, and detailed reporting of events under stressful circumstances, ability to travel and work variable hours, and a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge. Candidates must also have a valid driver license, United States Customs Clearance, valid travel documents, and a valid visa to travel to the US. Knowledge of the structure, operations, and functions of both US and foreign governments is required. The candidate must also effectively interface with JetBlue operational components and foreign government and private business partners. A ten-year background check and pre-employment drug test are required. Legal eligibility is required for the position, and visa or work permit sponsorship is not available.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year university or college, five years of supervisory experience, ten years in law enforcement or private security, refined interpersonal skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and other IT business suites.
