Description
As a Guest Service Agent, you will greet and check-in guests, issue boarding passes, and reschedule those affected by flight interruptions or cancellations. You will model best practices to deliver a delightful guest experience, including interpersonal habits. You will provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service, assist with reservations, handle guest questions and concerns professionally, manage gate operations, and ensure safe loading and unloading of passengers. You will also assist with baggage service and tracing, perform gate functions with professionalism and care, and perform other duties as needed to ensure guests have a fantastic Spirit experience. Responsibilities may change due to emergencies, rush jobs, or technical developments.
Starting pay: at $16.48/hr
Requirements
To succeed in this role, applicants must hold a high school diploma or GED certification, have a valid driver's license, be at least 18 years old, possess excellent English verbal and written communication skills, be a U.S citizen, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the U.S., model and deliver a distinctive customer experience, operate equipment, and learn airline-specific computer reservation/ticketing software, be able to lift up to 70 lbs., work flexible hours, pass a pre-employment drug screening and 10 year background check, be self-motivated, maintain a professional image, attend training for five continuous weeks, and apply a flexible approach when required. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, maintain a professional image, and attend training for 40 hours a week.
