    The Sales Executive – KIN (Jamaica) will report to the Head of Sales (Passenger). The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development of a network sales strategy for the passenger market, by building and maintaining a broad sales platform for corporate and private clients as well as pursuing new business opportunities. The incumbent will promote the brand and propose various sales initiatives designed to accomplish the strategic objectives of the Department.


    Key Deliverables

    • Sales Execution
      • Develops, promotes, and canvasses business from all source markets, including travel agents, corporate and commercial entities, traveling public, and tourism agencies, to achieve agreed sales targets.
      • Maintains high-standard relationships with travel agents to ensure profitability from this channel is maintained.
      • Provides prompt, efficient, and courteous service to all customers, advising on fares, itinerary planning, schedules, Caribbean Vacations products, and other relevant information.
      • Responds to technical and procedural questions, coordinates quotations, submits sales contracts, and updates customer records. Performs follow-up actions to close sales and monitors payment transactions.
      • Monitors and reviews travel agents and corporate accounts' performance against override agreements and targets, providing reports on retention or adjustment of these agreements.
      • Generates and implements new ideas to promote the Company's presence in relevant markets.
      • Develops new business and ensures customer retention through coordination with internal teams.
      • Collaborates with Sales Executive Teams in key markets (Trinidad, Guyana, Toronto, New York, and Florida) to expand business opportunities and secure new deals.
      • Analyzes data to maintain strategies that build broader and stronger sales revenues, utilizing social media and other platforms for potential sales opportunities.
      • Assists in market feasibility studies, client presentations, and product demonstrations.
    • Relationship Management
      • Builds successful relationships with key clients and communicates adaptable solutions to meet their requirements.
      • Translates client and channel partner needs into actionable insights for engagement plans.
      • Launches, communicates, and updates clients and partners on the features and benefits of new products and services.
      • Resolves sales-related issues and routine service/product problems.
    • Reporting
      • Conducts monthly analyses to inform future positioning strategies and ensures timely, accurate reports to support decision-making.
      • Generates monthly reports on the Caribbean Vacations and Tours Programme and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) from the Sales Executive Team.
    • Operational Effectiveness
      • Ensures efficient utilization of assigned resources to meet budgetary compliance and operational goals and standards.

    Requirements

    • Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or an equivalent qualification.
    • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a sales position, preferably in the airline industry.
    • Extensive experience in developing and implementing sales strategies targeting travel partners, corporate clients, and the traveling public.
    • Proficiency with client relationship management and sales tools.
    • Strong knowledge of airline products, services, industry trends, developments, and regional challenges.
    • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to prioritizing the interests of partners, clients, and customers.
    • Ability to travel for client and partner meetings and confidently explain the Airline’s products and services.
    • Strong problem-solving skills, addressing client needs proactively.
    • Team player with resilience to handle rejection as a challenge to succeed in future opportunities.
    • Demonstrates integrity by appropriately handling confidential information.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially:
      • Microsoft Outlook
      • Microsoft Word
      • Microsoft Excel
      • Microsoft PowerPoint
