As a Flight Attendant based in Thompson, you’ll play a key role in ensuring every passenger enjoys a safe, comfortable, and welcoming experience from boarding to arrival.

    About the Role

    Our Flight Attendants are ambassadors of both safety and hospitality. Reporting to the Flight Attendant Manager, you’ll handle everything from safety demonstrations and pre-flight checks to offering warm customer service and inflight refreshments. In many cases, you’ll be the only cabin crew member on board, making this a highly independent role where leadership, confidence, and professionalism shine.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

    • Participating in pre-flight crew briefings and preparing the aircraft cabin before departure
    • Conducting safety checks and ensuring all emergency equipment is ready and functional
    • Delivering clear, professional safety demonstrations and service announcements
    • Creating a welcoming environment with attentive inflight service, including snacks and beverages
    • Handling onboard revenues with accuracy and professionalism
    • Completing pre-flight and post-flight paperwork, and maintaining commissary stock
    • Assisting passengers with care and respect—including those requiring extra support
    • Ensuring compliance with company policies and aviation regulations at all times
    • Supporting cargo and freight handling when required
    • Representing Perimeter with sensitivity and cultural awareness when serving diverse northern communities

    Job Requirements

    • High school diploma (or GED equivalent)
    • At least 1–2 years of customer service experience, ideally in a fast-paced or hospitality environment
    • Valid passport and ability to obtain required transportation security clearances
    • Strong communication skills and a calm, professional manner under pressure
    • Flexibility to work variable schedules, including extended travel periods
    • Physical ability to perform all cabin duties and lift up to 50 lbs
    • Respect and appreciation for First Nations cultures and the unique needs of northern communities

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Indigenous and Cultural Awareness training
    • Prior aviation or safety-focused training
    • A proven ability to work independently while maintaining high standards
