Here’s what your path to wings looks like:
- World-Class Training: You’ll spend 6.5 weeks at our training campus in Houston, TX, learning from the best in the business. We cover everything from safety procedures to service excellence, ensuring you’re fully prepared for your new career.
- Full Support: While training, we provide a weekly stipend, shared hotel accommodations, and daily meals so you can focus entirely on your development.
- Your New Home Base: Upon successfully completing training, you’ll be assigned to one of our seven major hubs across the country, where you'll begin your adventure as a full-time United employee.

Your role will include:
- Putting Safety First: Conducting pre-flight checks, demonstrating safety procedures, and confidently managing any situation that may arise at 30,000 feet.

Are You Our Next United Flight Attendant?
We're looking for people who:
- Are at least 21 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or GED (some college is a plus!)
- Bring at least one year of customer service experience (retail, hospitality, education, or similar fields)
- Can communicate clearly and effectively in English (fluency in a second language is highly valued)
- Maintain excellent grooming standards and a professional appearance
- Are legally authorized to work in the United States
- Possess a valid U.S. passport with at least 18 months validity
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to reach 76" vertically and 43.5" horizontally without shoes
- Comfort lifting heavy objects (like luggage) and moving beverage carts (up to 250 lbs.)
- Capacity to pass a swimming evaluation during training
- Ability to sit in jump seat with harness fastened
