• Air Premia: Passenger Service Manager

    Location Los Angeles, CA, USA
    Posted

Air Premia is looking for a Passenger Service Manager to join our team at LAX! This isn't a desk job — you'll be on the ground, leading our service partners through check-in, aircraft servicing, catering, and passenger handling while keeping everything safe, on time, and compliant with both company and government standards.

If you're someone who stays calm when flights change, communicates clearly across different teams, and actually cares about the passenger experience, this could be a great fit.

    What you'll be responsible for?

You'll oversee daily ground operations at LAX, making sure everything from baggage to boarding runs smoothly. That includes:

    • Managing check-in, baggage and cargo handling, catering, and crew needs — all with an eye on on-time departures
    • Following company manuals and safety regulations to the letter (no shortcuts)
    • Working closely with the Station Manager, airport authorities, vendors, and third-party contractors to keep things coordinated
    • Acting as a point of contact between HQ, flight crews, and passengers — you'll share real-time schedule updates and solve problems as they come up
    • Keeping track of equipment, manpower, and records like manifests and logs
    • Jumping in on other tasks as needed to help the station succeed

    What we're looking for?

    • Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship (required)
    • Current residency in the Los Angeles area — strongly preferred, since we need someone who knows the airport and the commute
    • Real interest in aviation and a desire to take care of passengers, not just process them
    • Strong people skills — you can talk to anyone, from a stressed traveler to a flight crew to HQ in Korea
    • A team-first attitude. You don't wait to be told what to do
    • Bilingual in English and Korean? That's a big plus. You'll communicate with HQ and serve a diverse passenger base
    • Previous experience as a passenger service agent in charter or commercial aviation — preferred but not required if you have the right mindset
    • Solid commitment to safety policies and procedures
    • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime when flights need you

    Pay

$45,000–$60,000 per year, with starting pay based on relevant prior experience.
