Join Ireland's Newest Airline at Dublin Airport!

Emerald Airlines is Ireland's newest airline, and we're building something special at Dublin Airport. We are currently recruiting for Baggage Hall and Ramp Agents to join our ground handling team. Here's the best part – whether you have experience in aviation or you're starting from scratch, we want to hear from you. Both experienced and non-experienced individuals are welcome to apply.

At Emerald Airlines, you won't just be another employee. You'll be part of a tight-knit team that values integrity, openness, and genuine collaboration. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to work with the most eco-responsible commercial turbo-prop aircraft in the skies – the ATR 72-600.

    What You'll Be Doing?

You'll report directly to the Crew Chief and play a vital role in our daily operations. This role requires flexibility, as you'll be working across both Apron and Baggage Hall duties to ensure operational continuity.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Setting up and preparing aircraft service areas
    • Baggage handling and transport – multitasking is essential
    • Aircraft chocking and coning
    • GPU input and output operations
    • Marshalling passengers safely to and from the aircraft
    • Loading and unloading aircraft within tight timelines
    • Headset procedures during pushback and refuelling
    • Adhering strictly to safety procedures and departure deadlines
    • Airport driving and crew transport when required
    • Liaising with Team Leaders and Flight Crews
    • Coordinating across departments including OCC, Flight Ops, Inflight, Engineering, Catering, and Fuelling
    • Delivering On-Time Performance by minimizing or eliminating potential delays
    • Recovering disrupted schedules when needed
    • Following all Airline, Airport, ATC, and Authority safety and compliance regulations
    • Maintaining ground service equipment and completing assigned procedures
    • Reading and interpreting weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous materials labels, loading manifests, and flight logs
    • Any other duties as assigned by the Team Leader or Apron Supervisor

    What We're Looking For?

You must meet all of the following criteria:

    • Over 18 years of age
    • Hold a full clean Irish driving licence
    • Fluency in English, both spoken and written
    • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
    • Ability to pass Garda vetting and a full background check
    • Medically fit for the physical demands of the role

    The Schedule

This is a 42.5 hour work week with a regular roster pattern: 2 earlies, 2 lates, 2 days off. That said, the position also requires flexibility to cover first wave, second wave, and operational disruptions as needed.

    What We Can Offer You?

    • Excellent earning potential – salary up to €33,000 per annum (€15.30 per hour), based on qualifications
    • Regular, stable roster – 2 earlies, 2 lates, 2 off
    • Company pension scheme
    • Staff travel privileges
    • Job security – permanent positions available
    • Training and uniform provided
