SkyAlps is looking for a Ground Operations Support Officer to join our team in beautiful Bolzano. If you thrive in fast-paced airport environments and enjoy solving problems when things don't go exactly as planned, this role might be perfect for you.
This position is all about keeping our ground operations running smoothly across our network. You'll be the person who steps in when operational irregularities happen – helping passengers with baggage issues, coordinating during delays, and supporting ad-hoc charter flights. You'll work closely with our operations control center and collaborate across multiple departments to make sure everything comes together.
What You'll Be Doing?
Coordinate ground operational activities across SkyAlps airport network
Assist passengers during operational disruptions and baggage handling situations
Support the management of ad-hoc charter flights from start to finish
Work alongside the operations control center as an integral team member
Help ensure smooth, efficient ground operations even during challenging events
What We're Looking For?
Experience & Technical Skills:
- Background in airport ground handling
- Knowledge of Departure Control Systems (DCS) and Passenger Service Systems (PSS)
- Basic IT skills with good knowledge of Excel and Word
Language Requirements:
- Excellent spoken and written Italian
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Additional languages are always an asset

- Ability to handle non-routine situations when workloads vary unexpectedly
- Strong teamwork orientation – you know how to collaborate

Work Schedule & Availability
This role keeps our operations running around the clock. The Ground Operations Support Officer schedule covers nearly the entire 24-hour cycle, 7 days a week, depending on the season.
You must be available for shift work including:
- Night shifts
- Saturdays and Sundays
- Public holidays
