    About the Role

    We are looking for a Customer Service Agent to join our airport team at Cheddi Jagan International Airport in Guyana. Reporting to the Airport Supervisor, you will be the face of Caribbean Airlines for passengers at check-in counters, departure gates, and arrival halls. Your job is to make every interaction prompt, professional, and courteous — from the moment a passenger walks up to the counter until they board the aircraft. This is a fixed-term contract position.

    What You Will Be Doing?

    Customer Service – You will handle passenger inquiries and resolve issues with a result-oriented, professional approach. We are not just looking for someone who follows a script; we want someone who genuinely looks for opportunities to exceed expectations and turn problems into positive experiences.

    Operational Effectiveness – You will work with assigned resources (staff, equipment, time) to make sure customer service and on-time performance standards are consistently met. In airport operations, delays cost money and frustrate passengers — your efficiency matters.

    Reporting – You will deliver accurate operational reports within established timelines. This includes passenger counts, baggage information, and other data that keeps the operation running smoothly.

    Compliance – You will actively support Caribbean Airlines' safety and quality culture by following all corporate and regulatory guidelines. Safety is non-negotiable in this role.


    What You Need to Qualify?

    • Minimum of five (5) CXC O Level passes, including Mathematics and English
    • At least three (3) years of experience in a similar customer service role — airline experience is strongly preferred
    • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Competence in using a Computerized Reservations System is an asset (training may be provided for the right candidate)

    Important Conditions of Employment:

    • You must be legally authorized to work in Guyana at the time any offer of employment is made
    • Suitable applicants will be subject to a pre-employment medical evaluation, including drug and alcohol testing
    • A full criminal security and background investigation will also be conducted
