About the Role
We are looking for a polished, welcoming VIP Hostess to join our Jetex terminal team in Dubai. In this role, you are the first person our passengers see when they arrive — and we need someone who understands what that means. You will set the tone for the entire Jetex experience by providing a warm, graceful, and professional welcome to every VIP guest. This is not a behind-the-scenes position. You will be front and center, representing our brand with every interaction.
What You Will Be Doing?
Guest Reception – You will meet and greet VIP passengers as they arrive at the terminal, ensuring each guest feels genuinely welcomed from the moment their vehicle pulls up.
Assistance with Entry and Exit – You will open vehicle doors, help passengers step in and out safely, and offer light luggage handling when needed without overstepping or appearing intrusive.
Maintaining Terminal Presentation – You will keep the entrance area clean, organized, and visually welcoming at all times. Small details matter here.
Upholding Brand Standards – You will maintain a polished, professional appearance and demeanor throughout every shift. Jetex has a reputation for elegance, and you will help protect that.
Additional Duties – You may be asked to take on other reasonable tasks by your Line Manager as the operation requires.
Compliance and Safety – You will follow all documented procedures for your role, retain necessary records, and exercise your duty of care regarding health and safety at all times. You are expected to know and follow Jetex's policies.
What We Are Looking For?
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A High Diploma (preferred but not strictly required if experience is strong)
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in the hotel industry or a customer-facing service role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills — you should be comfortable speaking with high-profile travelers
- Excellent customer service instincts — you can read a room and adjust your approach accordingly
- The ability to remain calm and composed during busy moments or when handling an unexpected passenger situation
Languages Are an Advantage
If you speak multiple languages, please let us know. This is not a requirement, but it is valued given Dubai's international traveler base.
What the Role Feels Like Day to Day
You will be on your feet, outdoors at the arrival area for parts of your shift, welcoming guests in Dubai's weather. Some days will be steady; other days will bring back-to-back arrivals. You will need stamina, patience, and a genuine desire to make people feel cared for — even the ones who are tired from a long flight.
Important to Know Before You Apply
This role requires a professional, put-together appearance at all times. You will be visible to every guest, so grooming and presentation standards are high. Additionally, you must be comfortable with light physical tasks like opening doors and assisting with small luggage items.
