About the Role
We are seeking a Crew Control Officer to join our Crew Scheduling and Control team at Piarco on a two-year fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Supervisor, Crew Scheduling and Control, you will be responsible for managing Pilot and Cabin Crew rosters to ensure every flight meets TTCAA regulations and our own standard operating procedures. This is a role where things change fast — weather, delays, sick calls, and operational disruptions all land on your desk — and you will be the person coordinating the response, communicating changes to flight crew, and keeping the schedule legal and covered.
What You Will Be Doing
Roster Management – You will coordinate published flight and cabin crew rosters, making sure each flight has the correct crew complement and that all assignments comply with regulatory, industrial, and company requirements.
Disruption Handling – When schedules break down, you will assess available resources and implement cost-effective, legally compliant recovery plans. You will communicate changes to flight crew clearly and quickly.
Training Coordination – You will help coordinate training to ensure all crew qualifications remain current and valid.
Compliance – You will ensure compliance with national and international aviation requirements, with particular attention to TTCAA terms and conditions.
Customer Service Focus – You will look for ways to improve service delivery by assessing how the organization performs from the customer's point of view — both internal and external customers.
Relationship Management – You will build and maintain strong internal and external relationships in the best interests of the company.
What You Need to Qualify
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a related position, preferably within the airline industry
- At least five (5) CXC passes, including Mathematics and English
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
- Understanding of the aviation operational environment, or similar logistical operations (an asset)
- Ability to work a shift system — this is a 24/7 operation

Important Details Before You Apply
